The following pics are from the tune-up triathlon in Manassas on Sunday, March 25, 2007

To start off at about 7:45 am, it was quite chilly and full sweats were needed for wimps like me. No you're not supposed to look straight down while biking, but this was my 1st time riding this bike. It was important for me to figure out how the gears worked when starting out.

As you can see on the home stretch I had it figured out. In the poorly lit pool pic you can see that I was about to pass out, after almost drowning the last lap. That's why the swim is normally done first in these events.

Like I have said before, winning these things isn't important, but looking cool while doing it is of the utmost importance.
